This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our website and creative writing tools.
1. Writing Tools
Our writing tools run directly in your browser. The text you enter and the writing generated by these tools are processed locally.
The tools do not send your writing to our servers or a remote AI generation service. You do not need an account to use them. Your work is not saved automatically, and unsaved writing may be lost when you leave or reload a page.
2. Saved Writing and Bookmarks
You can choose to save generated writing in your browser using Save locally. Saved results include your writing and the inputs and settings used to create it.
My Bookmarks lets you save links to writing tools, guides, and story examples.
Saved writing and bookmarks remain in your browser. They are not uploaded to our servers or automatically synchronized across browsers or devices.
You can remove saved items through the website or clear them using your browser settings. They remain until you or your browser removes them. Clearing browser data may permanently remove saved work, so we recommend exporting anything important. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to read saved work.
Copying and exporting happen on your device. Exports may include your inputs and settings, so review them before sharing. Removing saved items does not remove exported files or clipboard copies.
3. Email Contact
If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address, message, and any attachments you provide.
We use this information to review and respond to your inquiry. Emails are processed through Gmail and your email provider.
4. Website Visits
Our hosting provider may process basic technical information, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to operate and protect PLOTVELA. Links used to reopen saved writing may contain a record identifier, but not the writing itself.
5. Your Choices and Contact
You can manage saved writing and bookmarks using the website's controls or your browser settings. Removing bookmarks does not delete saved writing, and deleting saved writing does not remove bookmarks.
